Daniel J. Troccoli serves as the founder and CEO of Threat Mitigation Partners, where he leads a team engaged in understanding emerging threats, identifying physical and logical vulnerabilities, and advising individuals and companies on the same. Mr. Troccoli is a former special agent with the Federal Bureau of Investigation with over 28 years of experience conducting in-depth investigations of complex international fraud, securities fraud and corporate fraud.

Mr. Troccoli has taught corporate fraud, securities fraud,  and international law seminars to local law enforcement, federal, and corporate investigators, as well as  attorneys.

As part of his duties with the FBI, Mr. Troccoli has traveled throughout Europe and the Caribbean to participate in judicial proceedings with foreign prosecutors, defense counsel, and investigators in order to obtain evidence to negotiate diplomatic and judicial solutions. Mr. Troccoli has also been responsible for threat vulnerability assessments and security of major special events. Throughout his career, Mr. Troccoli received numerous awards in recognition of his complex investigative work and contributions to the law enforcement community.

Prior to joining the FBI, Mr. Troccoli served as a partner in an Illinois based manufacturing firm for three years. Mr. Troccoli holds an undergraduate degree in business management with an emphasis in labor relations, and a masters degree in business administration with an emphasis in finance. In his free time Mr. Troccoli enjoys coaching soccer and spending time with his wife, Anne, and three daughters.
